Tiffany Aliche, founder of The Budgetnista, and Wealthramp, a fee-only advisor matching service where advisors only contact consumers with their permission, announced today a new tool to help people find a financial advisor they can trust. Visitors to YourMoneyMatch.com will now be able to connect with vetted, fee-only financial advisors that fit their priorities and preferences. The tool is powered by Wealthramp and provides access to its nationwide network of over 200 independent, fiduciary Registered Investment Advisors and financial coaches.
“The process of finding a financial advisor is extremely personal and often takes a considerable amount of research and vetting. It took me years to find mine,” said Tiffany Aliche, author of The New York Times Best Seller, Get Good with Money, and star of Netflix’s Get Smart with Money. “There’s not a day that goes by that someone from my community isn’t asking for a referral or name of an advisor, which isn’t always possible for me to give. Partnering with Pam Krueger and her team at Wealthramp gives me confidence that we’ll be able to improve the process and help more people not only find the right financial advisor but get the most out of it.”
While other matching sites allow advisors to bid on so-called leads, which ultimately tarnishes the quality of the match, Wealthramp is fiercely protective of the consumer experience. It is the only service that never sells or shares personal information with any advisor without their permission. Individuals can move at their own pace with the confidence that they will be matched to a qualified advisor with the right expertise, approach and price point to fit their situation – and without concern of being harassed by unwanted sales calls.
“Pam and I are kindred professionals. We’re financial gatekeepers and educators, and it’s evident she’s built her platform around these values. It’s one of the reasons I’m most excited to be partnering with Wealthramp,” said Aliche.
When people visit YourMoneyMatch.com they are invited to complete a brief survey, which uncovers their money priorities, goals and expectations for working with an advisor. Wealthramp’s digital service immediately provides up to three advisor matches. Individuals are encouraged to take their time reviewing these advisor profiles to learn more about their credentials, fee structures, and approach to client services. When ready, consumers have the option to schedule a meeting with any or all of their matched advisors. The first meeting with any advisor is always free, and there is no obligation to hire any professional.
“There’s one relationship that will be forever – you and your money. Having the right team of advisors in place is important to reach your goals. But it’s not easy to know where to go and who to trust when every professional now calls themselves a ‘financial advisor,’” said Pam Krueger, founder of Wealthramp. “Anyone looking for an experienced advisor should be able to find one they can trust – and we’ve worked hard to solve this problem and make the process stress-free and rewarding.”
Since 2019, Wealthramp has matched more than 20,000 people with fiduciary advisors, and over 95% of consumers who work with a recommended advisor are still with them today. Wealthramp’s vetted advisor network is nationwide, and combined represents over $70 billion in assets under management serving consumers at all income and asset levels.
